Job Description:

Production Assistant

As one of the UK's leading video production companies, ID2 Media is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Production Assistant to join our growing team.

We produce high-quality video content for some of the world's leading brands, creating everything from corporate films and branded content to social media campaigns and documentary-style productions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career in commercial video production. As part of our production team, you'll help support the day-to-day running of our busy production office while gaining first-hand experience of every stage of the production process, from the initial client brief through to filming, post-production and final delivery.

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, is highly organised and is keen to learn.

Two people sitting at a desk working on a project with papers, a laptop, and headphones, surrounded by office supplies.
A man with glasses smiling while talking on a smartphone in a bright, modern office space with bookshelves and plants.
A man in a hospital bed with a beard and gray hair, holding a phone to his ear, is being filmed by a woman with long blonde hair and black clothing. The room has medical equipment and a blue curtain, and there is professional filming gear indicating a video production.
A group of three people sitting at a table in a brightly decorated room. One woman with curly hair wearing a yellow shirt is in the center, listening intently. An older man with glasses and a yellow jacket is on the left, looking down at his phone. A person with blonde hair is on the right, partially out of frame. The background features colorful vases and decorations.
  • Supporting the Producers and Production Manager with the day-to-day running of productions

  • Answering the telephone and welcoming clients and visitors

  • Helping to keep the office organised and running efficiently

  • Preparing production paperwork, call sheets, presentations and other production documents

  • Booking travel, accommodation, couriers and other production logistics when required

  • Liaising with clients, contributors, freelancers and suppliers

  • Supporting post-production workflows and general administrative tasks

  • Carrying out research to support productions where required

  • Assisting with the preparation of equipment and resources for filming

  • Providing general support on filming days when required

This role offers the opportunity to work on productions throughout the UK and, occasionally, internationally, so some travel may be required.
