Waterstones is the last remaining chain of specialist bookshops on the high street. Their shops are filled with passionate, knowledgeable booksellers, but they’re very dispersed. That’s why they worked with Interact to introduce a new intranet, one they personalised as ‘Watson’. 

Watson is Waterstone’s main communication channel now. Because it’s cloud-based, shop workers can access it anywhere, which means they’re not tied to shop computers and have the chance to be more productive, and ultimately provide a better service to customers.
